Alternatively, open your game project and click the project tab and select "Manage NuGet Packages". Within the NuGet package manager search for MonoGame.Extended, you will need to install this plus also:
- MonoGame.Extended.Content.Pipeline
- MonoGame.Extended.Tiled
- MonoGame.Extended.Graphics
